12 GIANT MEN STARTED WITH A VICTORY
The last European runner-up Turkey hosted Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group C of the First Round. The national team finished the first quarter, where they established superiority over their opponent, ahead 29-20. In the second quarter, Bosnia and Herzegovina regrouped, reducing the deficit to 1, and Turkey went to the locker room leading 46-45.
In the third quarter, the crescent-star team regained control of the game, widening the gap with baskets from Sertaç Şanlı and Tarık Biberovic, and entered the final period leading 67-58. In the fourth and final quarter, the Turkish National Team increased the lead and won the match 93-71.

National basketball player Tarık Biberovic was the top scorer of the match with 20 points. In the crescent-star team, Şehmus Hazer contributed significantly to the victory with 18 points, Sertaç Şanlı with 14 points, and Kenan Sipahi with 12 points.
THE OPPONENT IN THE SECOND MATCH IS SWITZERLAND
The national team will play its second match in the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers against Switzerland on Sunday, November 30. The match will be held at the Saint-Leonard Sports Hall in Fribourg, Switzerland, starting at 19:00 TRT.
