Afterwards, the boy folded the flag and continued walking while kissing it. The moment was captured on the helmet camera of a motorcyclist named Ersin Çampınar, who approached the young boy and said, "Well done, kid, my hair stood on end. What are you doing, brother?" to which the boy replied, "I saw the flag on the ground. My heart wouldn't allow it."
