On March 14, in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, suspects who introduced themselves as police called 60-year-old professor N.K. and said that his name was involved in a fake gold operation. The suspects asked N.K. to put all the gold in the house into a bag and hand it over to the person who came to the door for his exoneration.
HE HANDED OVER HIS GOLD TO THE FRAUDSTERS
Believing the suspects who said that the gold would be returned after the operation, N.K. put 1,285 grams of gold and jewelry found in the house into a bag and handed it over to the fake police at his door. Later, realizing he had been defrauded, N.K. called the police to file a complaint.
