Ömer Demir (35) lost control of his motorcycle's handlebars while trying to take a turn in Taksim, crashed into a concrete wall, and was thrown onto the road. Severely injured, Demir was taken to the hospital by ambulance after emergency teams arrived. Despite all interventions, Demir lost his life. The accident occurred on Wednesday, April 29, at around 03:30 AM on Tarlabaşı Boulevard, Taksim Tunnel, Beyoğlu. According to the information obtained; Ömer Demir lost control of his handlebars while trying to take a turn in the tunnel with his motorcycle bearing license plate 34 GYJ 213. The motorcycle, unable to complete the turn, crashed into a concrete wall. Demir was thrown and fell onto the road during the accident.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Upon notification by nearby drivers who witnessed the accident, emergency teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention at the scene, Ömer Demir was taken to Taksim Training and Research Hospital by ambulance in serious condition and placed under treatment. Demir, who underwent surgery, lost his life despite all interventions.
