HE WAS RECEIVING TREATMENT IN THE HOSPITAL

Legendary arabesque music artist Ferdi Tayfur was hospitalized in Muğla after falling ill at his home in Marmaris in mid-December. Tayfur was transferred to this city by air ambulance at the request of the doctor from the hospital in Antalya where he had previously undergone a kidney transplant.

A STENT WAS PLACED IN HIS BRAIN VESSEL

It was reported that the 79-year-old artist had a stent placed in a brain vessel during an operation at a hospital in Antalya 15 days before he fell ill and was discharged. Ferdi Tayfur had received a kidney transplant from his son in Antalya in 2020 after undergoing dialysis treatment for a while.

HIS DOCTOR MADE A STATEMENT

Dr. Asuman Yavuz, who made a statement regarding Tayfur's health condition, said, "Mr. Ferdi Tayfur was urgently hospitalized in Muğla last week due to low pulse. The doctors there were very helpful. Chief Physician Sumur Bey and Cardiologist Bülent Bey were very concerned. I thank our state, thanks to e-nabız, I saw all of Mr. Ferdi's films on Monday.
