The Governorship explained the reason for the expanded bans as "the prevention of actions that constitute a crime, ensuring national security, protecting fundamental rights and freedoms as well as the rights and freedoms of others, maintaining public order and security, and establishing general safety."

The Governorship also stated, "Individuals, groups, and vehicles that are likely to participate in unlawful actions individually or collectively using the route of our province from the districts of our province or surrounding provinces will not be allowed to enter or exit our province."
ROADS TO ÇAĞLAYAN CLOSED

According to the Governorship's announcement, the roads closed between 16:00 on March 22 and 08:00 on Sunday, March 23, are as follows: Abide-i Hürriyet Avenue from the intersection of Merkez Avenue towards Çağlayan and all roads leading to the avenue, Darülaceze Avenue from the intersection of Çiftecevizler Avenue towards Hürriyettepe, all roads leading to the courthouse from the intersection of Taş Ocağı Avenue and Kurşun Street, all roads leading to Şevket Paşa Avenue from the intersection of Eğitim Street and Esin Street-Manolya Street, Piyalepaşa Boulevard D-100 North Junctions towards the courthouse, the intersection of Vatan Avenue and Şevket Paşa Avenue, the intersection of Kağıthane Avenue and Şevket Paşa Avenue, the intersection of Abide-i Hürriyet Avenue and Şevket Paşa Avenue, the intersection of Akgül Street and Engin Street, the intersection of Dr. Cemil Bengü Avenue and Funda Street, the intersection of Taş Ocağı Avenue and Yurt Street, Çağlayan Tunnel Inner Junction towards the courthouse, Yeniyol Avenue, D100 North Çağlayan Side Road Junctions, D100 South Çağlayan Side Road Junctions.
