The owner of the factory, Gökhan Fidan, moved Muaffiş's lifeless body away from the factory and called emergency services, saying, "I found him by the roadside." The factory owner, Gökhan Fidan, said he would take the worker to the hospital and had him put in his car, but he left the body by the roadside and called 112, reporting, "There is an unconscious person." When the medical teams arrived at the scene, they determined that Muaffiş had passed away. The gendarmerie detained factory owner Fidan. The worker's lifeless body was sent to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution Denizli Regional Directorate for autopsy.

In his initial statement, Fidan said that he left the factory to take Muaffiş to the hospital after hearing that he had been electrocuted, but later, thinking he was dead, he left him by the factory and called the medical teams. "I did this because I was scared. If I had known he was dead, I would never have left the factory," he said.
FACTORY OWNER ARRESTED
After his procedures at the gendarmerie, factory owner Gökhan Fidan was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
