In the Artova district of Tokat, the daughter-in-law K.V. was arrested on suspicion of causing the death of her 88-year-old father-in-law Mustafa Cici by beating him after an argument. While Cici, who died in the hospital, was laid to rest, the investigation into the incident continues.
The daughter-in-law, who was taken into custody on suspicion of beating her father-in-law to death in the Artova district of Tokat, has been arrested and sent to prison.
Following the incident, the procedures for K.V., a Azerbaijani national detained by gendarmerie teams, were completed. The suspect, referred to the courthouse, was arrested by the magistrate.
ARGUMENT ENDS IN DEATH
The incident occurred in the village of Ağmusa, affiliated with the district. According to allegations, an argument broke out between K.V. and her 88-year-old father-in-law, Mustafa Cici, for an unknown reason.
It was claimed that as the argument quickly escalated into a fight, K.V. beat her father-in-law, causing him to fall to the ground. Severely injured, Mustafa Cici could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors at the Artova District Integrated Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance.
LAID TO REST
The body of deceased Mustafa Cici was laid to rest in the district after the procedures. The investigation into the incident continues.
