The Syrian army announced that a humanitarian corridor has been opened for the evacuation of civilians in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which has been declared a "closed military zone" (west of the Euphrates).
A SAFE EVACUATION ROUTE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED
In a statement from the Syrian Army Operations Desk, which is affiliated with the Damascus government, it was noted that a safe evacuation route has been established for civilians wishing to move from the settlements in eastern Aleppo to the city center.
THE CORRIDOR WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 17:00
It was recorded that the evacuations would take place through the village of Hamime, located on the strategic M15 highway connecting the town of Deir Hafer to Aleppo. The corridor is reported to be open for civilian crossings today between 09:00 and 17:00.
THE OPERATION WILL BEGIN
The statement indicated that military operations would be initiated before the expiration of the time granted for civilians to exit.
It was reported that the decision was made after the Syrian army declared a wide line extending from Deir Hafer in the east of Aleppo to Meskene on the banks of the Euphrates as a "closed military zone" on Tuesday.
