Fenerbahçe Beko, the champion of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League, received its trophy. The yellow-and-navy team lifted the championship trophy together with captain Melih Mahmutoğlu and Marko Guduric.
Fenerbahçe Beko, which became the champion by defeating Beşiktaş Fibabanka 4-1 in the play-off final series of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League, received its trophy.
The trophy ceremony was held after the fifth match of the series, played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall, where the yellow-blue team reached the championship by defeating Beşiktaş 84-68.
In the ceremony, the award was first presented to Beşiktaş. The second-place plaque was presented to the captain of the black-and-white team, Yiğit Arslan, by the Vice President of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), Harun Erdenay.
Then, the yellow-blue basketball players and coaching staff received their medals.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, and TBF President Hidayet Türkoğlu presented the championship trophy to Fenerbahçe Beko captain Melih Mahmutoğlu.
The experienced player made a grand gesture by calling Marko Guduric to his side, and the two players lifted the trophy together.
After Melih and Guduric lifted the trophy, the yellow-blue basketball players and fans experienced great joy.
MVP OF THE FINAL SERIES: KHEM BIRCH
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Basketball Super League play-off final series was won by Khem Birch from Fenerbahçe Beko. The Canadian center averaged 11.2 points in the 5 matches played in the final series.
FAREWELL TO GHERARDINI AND GUDURIC
Farewell was given to board advisor Maurizio Gherardini and Serbian basketball player Marko Guduric at Fenerbahçe Beko.
After the trophy ceremony, the president of the yellow-blue club, Ali Koç, and the board member responsible for men's basketball, Sertaç Komsuoğlu, presented jerseys to Gherardini and Guduric. Gherardini, who has held various positions at Fenerbahçe Beko since 2014, stated, "I thank you from the bottom of my heart. My heart will always beat yellow-blue. I thank this incredible club and the fans. Always Fenerbahçe."
Guduric, who played for the yellow-blue team in the years 2017-2019 and 2020-2025, said, "First of all, I thank my beautiful family. We had an incredible season. We made history. I am proud. Thank you for all your support. Always the biggest Fener everywhere." Marko Guduric saluted the fans with his wife and children. The Fenerbahçe fans also bid farewell to the Serbian player with cheers and applause.
