The child thief who stole customers' bags in restaurants in Istanbul was caught.

Two suspects, one of them a child, who stole foreign currency, gold, and passports from tourists in hotel restaurants in Istanbul were caught in a police operation. The female theft suspect under 18 has a criminal record of 25 crimes.

Following the pickpocketing incidents in restaurant hotels in Istanbul's Fatih and Beyoglu districts, the Istanbul Police Department Public Order Branch Pickpocketing and Theft Bureau teams launched an investigation.

MOSTLY MINORS

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that two suspects, one under the age of 18, stole foreign currency, gold, jewelry, and passports from foreign tourists in three different hotels on different dates using pickpocketing methods. The identified suspects, F.Ö. and D.B., were apprehended in an operation in the Fatih district. It was learned that F.Ö. had 14 prior criminal records, while the female theft suspect D.B. had 25 criminal records.

THEY WERE SENT TO PRISON

The suspects, taken into custody and brought to the Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures were completed. The two suspects, brought before the court, were arrested and sent to prison.
