The body of university student Ayşe Tokyaz was found in a suitcase by the roadside in Istanbul. The young girl, who is alleged to have been killed by former police officer Cemil Koç, has a twin sister named Esra Tokyaz, who made chilling claims on social media. Esra Tokyaz stated that the police pressured her at the station where she went to file a complaint and claimed that her statement was leaked.

University student Ayşe Tokyaz was found dead, abandoned in a suitcase by the roadside in Istanbul. It was revealed that the 22-year-old young woman was killed at home by former police officer Cemil Koç, and her body was placed in a suitcase and left in Eyüpsultan. After the murder, a total of 6 people, including Cemil Koç, were detained. It was alleged that the suspect painted his house red to cover up blood traces and called a cleaner to hide the body. Tokyaz's twin sister, Esra Tokyaz, explained on her social media account that her sister was killed by her ex-boyfriend.

"IF I COME, I WILL PUT YOU IN DANGER TOO," HE SAID

The grieving sister, who said they came from Hatay to study in Istanbul, stated, "My sister Ayşe started talking to a person named Cemil Koç (former police chief) with a promise of marriage. I saw that Koç was abusing my sister Ayşe. After that, I tried to get my twin out of the house. Ayşe told me, 'If I come, I will put you in danger too, you go, I will come.' In the evening, they called me from Cemil's phone; he said, 'I have something, bring it to me.' I went from Beşiktaş to Küçükçekmece at night.

"HE TRICKED ME BY SAYING 'SHE LEFT WITHOUT SHOES'"

I wanted to see Ayşe, he said, 'She has returned to the dorm by taxi, you go there,' but my sister's shoes were in front of the door. When I asked, he said, 'She left without shoes.' He didn't let me in. I immediately returned to the Beşiktaş dorm. My sister was not in the dorm, so I went back to her house in Küçükçekmece," she said.

"THEY SAID 'YOUR SISTER IS OF LEGAL AGE, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING'"

Esra, who shared the details of the incident, continued: "The site security did not let me in. I called the police and waited for about an hour. When they arrived, they said, 'Your sister is of legal age, we can't do anything.' I told them that he was abusing her; they said, 'We can't help you, go to the police station, they will look into it.'

'Help me, what can I do alone as a woman? You are not helping me. Take me to the police station,' I said. They tried to send me away by saying, 'We can't take you, get a taxi and go.' I said I had no safety. They showed me the taxi over there. I went to Halkalı Police Station, and when I mentioned Koç's name, they said they recognized it. A search warrant was issued for the house, but they found nothing.

"THE POLICE PRESSURED ME"

The next day, I was called by Kanarya Security, and I went there. About 10-15 police officers pressured me. They told me not to play the victim. When I gave them the names of Cemil Koç's men, they did not find and bring them.

Cemil Koç's phone was on, and they could not find my sister. The morning we left the police station, Cemil Koç called me and said he had read my statements line by line. He repeated the details I mentioned during my statement word for word. 'The police can't do anything anyway,' he said.

"THEY MADE ME READ ALL MY STATEMENTS TO CEMIL KOÇ"

I called the police officer I had contacted and said, 'I will report you to the prosecutor's office, you are reading my statements to Cemil Koç.' They said, 'Don't report us to the prosecutor's office, we have made some progress, we are investigating. If you go to the prosecutor's office, you will waste time, but if you want, go.'

This morning, I was called from Kanarya Police and told, 'Go to Bahçelievler Forensic Medicine, they will take care of you now. We are sleeping now, you may not be able to reach us,' and they hung up the phone.

"I WANT ALL OF THEM TO FACE JUSTICE"

They did not let me in at Forensic Medicine. Alone, even when I desperately hit my head on the ground, they said, 'You are damaging public property, we see many like you,' and they watched me. I have knocked on every door, gone to every place, and searched every street. Then I received the news of my sister's death.

I now ask all of you for help so that all the state officials, especially Cemil Koç, who caused my sister's death, pay for their actions, including those who were not with me in my time of need.
