A fire that broke out in the section containing worker dormitories at the construction site of the 1,000-bed city hospital in the Adapazarı district of Sakarya, which was visible from all parts of the city, was brought under control and extinguished.

FIRE BREAKS OUT AT CITY HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION
A fire broke out in the structure made up of containers where workers resting at the construction site of the Thousand-Bed City Hospital in Alandüzü Neighborhood were located, for reasons yet to be determined. The flames quickly grew and engulfed the building. Smoke was visible from all over the city, and upon notification of the situation, a large number of fire crews were dispatched to the area.
21 CONTAINERS DAMAGED
The teams that arrived at the scene mobilized to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent structures. The fire was brought under control after long efforts, preventing a possible disaster. Due to the fire, one worker was affected by smoke and was transferred to the hospital. In the fire that was brought under control and extinguished, 21 containers used as dormitories were damaged. An investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
