Ebru Gündeş married her fourth husband, businessman Murat Osman Özdemir, in Dubai in February 2024. The couple divorced amicably in a single session on September 27, 2025.
MURAT ÖZDEMİR WAS ALSO DETAINED IN AUGUST
Ebru Gündeş's husband Murat Özdemir was also detained in August as part of the "Selahattin Yılmaz Criminal Organization" investigation. After his procedures at the police station, Özdemir was referred to the courthouse and released after his statement to the prosecutor.
According to allegations, Murat Özdemir was said to have exerted pressure on certain organized industrial zones with instructions received from the leader of the criminal organization and profited in this way.
On the other hand, Ebru Gündeş's private life had also come to the fore in the past with similar legal processes. The artist's ex-husband, Rıza Zarrab, was arrested in 2016 in the U.S. on charges of bank fraud and money laundering, and later became an informant.
