Famous singer Hadise responded to journalist Sinan Burhan's criticism that she appeared on stage in a "costume like a p.rno figure." Stating that the footage belongs to a concert she gave a year ago, Hadise said, "I am not the target of this ugly, intentional post that aims to intimidate all women and uses my name." Noting that she will follow up on the legal processes she has initiated, Hadise added, "Keep your hands and your tongue off the female body."

Turkey Press Federation President Sinan Burhan fired back at singer Hadise with a post on his social media account.

"SHE CAME ON STAGE IN A COSTUME LIKE A P.RNO FIGURE"

In his post on social media, Sinan Burhan harshly criticized Hadise's stage style, saying, “Hadise came on stage in a costume like a p.rno figure… Is this called art?”  Burhan continued his criticism by citing important figures from Turkish culture and art. Mentioning names like Aşık Veysel, Neşet Ertaş, Yaşar Kemal, Ara Güler, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, and Ahmet Özhan, Burhan emphasized that these artists contributed lasting values to society through their works. Burhan asked, "If Hadise is an artist, what are these names?"

"YOUNG PEOPLE ARE BEING POISONED" OUTBURST

Continuing his criticisms, Burhan also addressed those who reacted to his sharing of the images. "I am addressing those who ask why you are publishing this video. Even if you close your eyes, young people are being poisoned. You cannot cover it up. You must say enough already," he stated.

HADISE RESPONDED: REMOVE YOUR HANDS AND TONGUES FROM THE WOMAN'S BODY

While Burhan's statements sparked debate on social media, Hadise's response was not delayed. In her statement on social media, Hadise noted that the language used was targeting, and she said: "I am not the target of this ugly, intentional post that aims to intimidate all women using the images from last year's Harbiye Concert, where my name is mentioned. This intimidation directed at women through me shows how justified the legal process I initiated earlier is. I will continue to follow the processes. Remove your hands and tongues from the woman's body.”
