Famous singer Hadise responded to journalist Sinan Burhan's criticism that she appeared on stage in a "costume like a p.rno figure." In his post on social media, Sinan Burhan harshly criticized Hadise's stage style, saying, “Hadise came on stage in a costume like a p.rno figure… Is this called art?” Burhan continued his criticism by citing important figures from Turkish culture and art. Mentioning names like Aşık Veysel, Neşet Ertaş, Yaşar Kemal, Ara Güler, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, and Ahmet Özhan, Burhan emphasized that these artists contributed lasting values to society through their works. Burhan asked, "If Hadise is an artist, what are these names?"

Continuing his criticisms, Burhan also addressed those who reacted to his sharing of the images. "I am addressing those who ask why you are publishing this video. Even if you close your eyes, young people are being poisoned. You cannot cover it up. You must say enough already," he stated.
