The incident occurred on Sunday, January 4, at Caddebostan Beach in Kadıköy. According to the information obtained, three people who wanted to swim were suddenly caught by the rising waves due to the wind.
WAVES THREW THEM INTO THE ROCKS
The waves, which increased their effect on the beach due to the wind, threw Yavuz C., Haluk Ç., and Nusret M. into the rocks. The swimmers, who crashed into the rocks violently, were injured in various parts of their bodies, and health teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured, who received first aid on the beach, were taken to the hospital by ambulances, while those moments were recorded by nearby citizens with their mobile phone cameras.
3 PEOPLE INJURED
It was learned that Yavuz C. and Haluk Ç. sustained deep wounds on their back, legs, and waist, and their treatments are ongoing at home. Nusret M., who was found to have a fracture in his leg, is still receiving treatment in the hospital.
