A woman in Kağıthane, Istanbul, took her children to the home of her estranged husband, who was in the process of divorce. Later, the individual went outside under the pretext of wanting to talk and assaulted the woman in the middle of the street with kicks and punches when she refused to engage in conversation. During the incident, the woman cried out for help, shouting "Help me, call the police." The suspect then pointed a gun at the woman's head while threatening others around them with the weapon before fleeing the scene. The incident was captured on camera, and the suspect, who was later apprehended by the police, was arrested.
A man pulled a gun on his wife, who is in the process of getting a divorce, and assaulted her in the middle of the street in Kağıthane, Istanbul.
HE TOOK HER HOME TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN
The incident occurred on Saturday, December 13, around 2:00 PM in Çağlayan. According to the information obtained, Yağmur S.E. filed for divorce from Bilal E. due to severe incompatibility and obtained a restraining order against him. After moving in with her family, Yağmur S.E. took her children home to let their father see them. After the children went inside, Bilal E. followed Yağmur S.E. and said he wanted to talk to her. When she refused to talk, Bilal E. insisted and waited on the street for a while.
HE ASSAULTED THE WOMAN AND POINTED A GUN AT HER HEAD
Bilal E. then began to assault the woman by pinning her against the back of a car. In front of bystanders, Bilal E. attacked her with kicks and punches, also verbally abusing her. During the incident, as the woman cried out, some citizens intervened, prompting Bilal E. to pull out his gun. He pointed the gun at the woman's head and then threatened the surrounding citizens. Bilal E. then ran down the street and disappeared after a while.

THE AGGRESSIVE HUSBAND WAS ARRESTED
After the incident, Yağmur S.E. went to the police station to file a complaint against her husband Bilal E., prompting the police to initiate an investigation. In ongoing efforts, Bilal E. was caught with the gun he used in the incident. After being taken into custody, Bilal E. was referred to the courthouse following his statement at the police station. He was arrested by the court on charges of 'intentional injury', 'violation of the firearms law', and 'threat and insult'.
