There is no peace in the family of young actress Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi. While mother Kader Çiftçi filed for divorce against her husband Ünal Çiftçi on charges of 'adultery,' she claimed that the money their daughter earned from acting was spent on other women.

According to the news from Sabah newspaper's İlker Gezici; her mother, Kader Çiftçi, applied to the court to end her marriage. In the petition, Kader Çiftçi argued that her husband Ünal Çiftçi severely violated the fidelity obligation required by the marital union, and based her divorce request on the claim of "adultery."

One of the most striking parts of the petition submitted to the court involved financial claims. Kader Çiftçi alleged that the income earned by her daughter Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, who has been acting in numerous TV series and film projects since childhood, was spent by her father Ünal Çiftçi on other women. Stating that this situation completely ruined the peace within the family, the mother expressed that the marital union was fundamentally shaken.

The rumblings of this family crisis had been heard earlier through father Ünal Çiftçi's previous application to the prosecutor's office. Father Ünal Çiftçi had filed a criminal complaint, claiming that his then-minor daughter Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi was made to work on sets without her family's permission.
In the same complaint petition, there were also serious allegations that the young actress was in a relationship with her co-star Hakan Çelebi.
