A new development has occurred in the ongoing custody case regarding the twin children of Reha Muhtar and Deniz Uğur. Muhtar announced on his social media account that a travel ban has been imposed on his children. It has been claimed that this decision was made upon the request of his ex-wife, Deniz Uğur.
A new development has occurred in the long-standing legal battle over the custody of the twin children between journalist and television personality Reha Muhtar and actress Deniz Uğur. Muhtar announced via his social media account that a travel ban has been imposed on his children.
OBJECTION TO THE PROTOCOL SIGNED IN 2010
Reha Muhtar and Deniz Uğur had signed a mutual protocol when they parted ways in 2010. According to this agreement, it was decided that the custody of the twins, Mina Deniz and Poyraz Deniz, would remain with the father until they turned 18. Additionally, there was a clause in the protocol stating that the mother, Deniz Uğur, could see her children at Muhtar's mansion whenever she wanted, even staying for two days.
However, last year, Deniz Uğur objected to this protocol and applied to the Istanbul Family Court to obtain custody of the children. While the legal process is still ongoing, a new crisis has emerged between the parties.
RESPONSE TO THE TRAVEL BAN: "MY CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRAVEL"
Reha Muhtar, who announced the development on his social media account, stated that a travel ban has been imposed on his children. He emphasized that the decision was made upon the request of his ex-wife, Deniz Uğur, expressing his reaction by saying, "My children will not be able to travel anymore."
