Lebanon announced that the number of people killed in airstrikes conducted by Israel since March 2 has reached 826, while the number of injured has reached 2,009. Additionally, the number of displaced persons due to the conflicts has also reached 831,882.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of people who lost their lives in the airstrikes carried out by Israel since March 2 has risen to 826.
THE DEATH TOLL HAS RISEN TO 826
The death toll continues to rise in Israel's attacks on Lebanon. In a statement made by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, it was announced that the number of people who have died since the start of Israel's attacks on March 2 has reached 826, and the number of injured has risen to 2,009.
Due to Israel's intense airstrikes, many people in the country continue to be forced to leave their homes. The Disaster Risk Management Unit, affiliated with the Lebanese government, reported that the number of displaced persons due to the intensified clashes on March 2 has reached 831,882.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On February 28, Israel claimed that Hezbollah in Lebanon was acting in conjunction with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) following the attacks it launched jointly with the United States against Iran, and began conducting intense airstrikes in the region. In statements made by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was claimed that elements belonging to Hezbollah and the IRGC were targeted in the violent attacks on the Dahiyeh area in the capital Beirut.
