Non-custodial defendant Furkan Ay, making his defense in the hearing, stated, "I did not intend to threaten anyone. I am sorry for what happened." When asked for his final statement, the defendant requested his acquittal from the court.

7 YEARS AND 20 DAYS PRISON SENTENCE
After receiving the defense and statements, the court announced its decision, sentencing defendant Furkan Ay to a total of 7 years and 20 days in prison for the crimes of 'threat with multiple individuals', 'insulting the memory of a person', and 'unlawfully obtaining or disseminating personal data', while ruling his acquittal for the crime of 'praising crime and the criminal'.
FROM THE INDICTMENT
In the indictment prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, Yasemin Akıncılar Minguzzi was listed as the 'plaintiff' and Furkan Ay as the 'suspect'.

In the prepared indictment, the threat messages to family members were included in the report based on the virtual patrol activities conducted by the Bursa Provincial Police Department Cyber Crimes Branch Directorate. The messages stated, "You don't like me but you know me well, Brother Berat. You will know me well soon. My name is Ademcan. I am in Bursa Yıldırım. I will soon be by the side of your and your son's coffin. We know the address of his grave. We have filled the supplies, be ready. Remember the name Ademcan well, your death is with me," and it was also reported that they cursed the deceased Ahmet Minguzzi.
It was stated that in April 2025, suspect Furkan Ay sent the messages under investigation to plaintiff Yasemin Minguzzi's mobile phone, that the suspect gave statements aimed at avoiding conviction, and that the suspect unlawfully obtained the plaintiff's personal data and sent the messages.
REQUEST FOR UP TO 13 YEARS IN PRISON
In the indictment, it was requested that Furkan Ay be sentenced to between 4 years and 3 months and up to 13 years in prison for the crimes of 'unlawfully obtaining or disseminating personal data', 'threat with multiple individuals', and 'insulting the memory of a person'.
