The demolition decision has been made for the illegal villa construction in Vaniköy, Istanbul. The demolition work, coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, has started.

The demolition work has started following the announcement by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding the illegal construction in Vaniköy.

A post on the ministry's social media account reminded that the illegal construction in the villa within the jurisdiction of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was halted by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate. It was stated that the demolition of the illegal constructions will be carried out today under the coordination of the provincial directorate. The post mentioned, "Unpermitted construction activities were detected in the Boğaziçi Anticipation Zone in Vaniköy, Üsküdar, within the jurisdiction of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Boğaziçi Planning Directorate, and the unlicensed buildings were sealed by our ministry. The demolition work regarding the unlicensed and illegal constructions and the extensions in the inhabited building in the detected area will be carried out today under the coordination of our Ministry's Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change."
