The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had initiated an investigation ex officio regarding the allegations in posts and news on social media platforms about Ayşe Barım, the manager who is the founder and partner of ID Consulting Limited Company, which manages some artists and actors. As part of the investigation, a travel ban was imposed on Barım. It was claimed that Barım, who manages many famous actors, caused monopolization in the industry and was alleged to have pushed away actors who opposed her. As part of the investigation against Ayşe Barım, actress Serenay Sarıkaya was also summoned to give a statement to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
