The incident occurred on December 1, 2025, in the Arsuz district. A person named Y.E.T. injured the vehicle owner A.K. critically after failing to reach an agreement regarding the vehicle he wanted to purchase and demanded that A.K. cover the expenses, then fled the scene with the vehicle. Following a complaint, Y.E.T. was caught with the vehicle and taken into custody by the Hatay Police Department. The suspect was arrested by the court to which he was referred and sent to prison.
