In Aksaray, a drunk driver who was involved in a material damage accident resisted police officers who requested identification, along with two of his relatives. The driver, who had a blood alcohol level of 2.60 promille, kicked the Traffic Registration and Supervision Branch Director. Three suspects were detained after being incapacitated with pepper spray.

Serkan S. got out of the vehicle and fled the scene. Bystanders reported the situation to the police. While traffic police were investigating the accident site, Serkan S. and his relatives Sait S. and Rahmi S. arrived at the scene.

The police asked the suspects for their IDs. Sait S., one of the three individuals who did not want to provide their ID, kicked Traffic Registration and Supervision Branch Manager Gürsoy Yalvaç, who was present at the accident scene.

3 SUSPECTS DETAINED



The police used pepper spray to neutralize and detain the three individuals. It was revealed that driver Serkan S. had a blood alcohol level of 2.60 promille during the alcohol test. Traffic Registration and Supervision Branch Manager Gürsoy Yalvaç was treated at Aksaray Training and Research Hospital.



An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
