Following the investigation into the "Newborn Gang" scandal, Avcılar Hospital, owned by former Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu and closed down, was sold to Daviva Dialysis Services Inc. for 600 million lira, reduced from its market value of 768 million lira in the second tender.

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) put the commercial and economic integrity of Avcılar Hospital up for sale on May 25, 2025, with a starting price of 768 million 100 thousand lira. According to TMSF's statement, "The sale of the commercial and economic integrity of Avcılar Hospital" was won by Daviva Dialysis Services Inc. The sale transaction was completed on September 24, 2025. It was stated that the license transfer processes are ongoing with the Ministry of Health following the handover process.
