In the Altınordu district of Ordu, 74-year-old Ahmet Karabulut, who was hit by a truck, died in the hospital where he was taken. The moments when Karabulut was trapped under the truck were captured by a security camera.
An elderly man, hit by a truck in Ordu's Altınordu district, died at the hospital he was taken to.
STUCK UNDER THE TRUCK
The accident occurred in the morning hours on Zübeyde Hanım Street in Şahincili Mahallesi. According to the information obtained, Ahmet Karabulut (74) was under the vehicle after being hit by a truck with license plate 52 AFA 006, driven by İ.A. (24), as he was heading from the pedestrian sidewalk to the road. Upon notice, health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
LOST HIS LIFE
Karabulut, who was removed from under the truck through the efforts of the teams, was taken to Ordu State Hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention at the scene. Despite all interventions by doctors, Karabulut, who was receiving treatment, could not be saved and lost his life.
Following the accident, legal proceedings were initiated against the truck driver İ.A., who was taken into custody.
