The end of the road seems to be in sight for the terrorist organization! A message from the USA:

According to the March 10 protocol, the end of the road seems to be in sight for the terrorist organization SDG, which has been resisting integration into the Syrian army. The terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan sent a message urging them to "lay down their arms," and Washington also warned the SDG, saying, "Forget about the agenda of cantons, federalism, and autonomous Kurdistan. You have only one chance: to reach an agreement with Syria."

The American administration is now sending a message to the YPG/SDF structure it has supported on the ground since 2015 under the pretext of fighting ISIS: "Submit to Damascus." According to a report in Türkiye Gazetesi, sources in the region indicate that the organization is trying to pressure Washington regarding the fight against ISIS and the control of camps, but the U.S. has closed all doors.

IMPORTANT PROGRESS MADE IN THE PROCESS

Turkish Foreign Ministry sources also state that since March, Ankara has been in intense contact with Damascus, the U.S., the UN, and regional countries regarding the fight against ISIS, prisoners in the camps, and security cooperation, noting that significant progress has been made in this process.

SUCCESSIVE OPERATIONS AGAINST ISIS

In line with the agreement reached between the coalition and Damascus, a series of joint operations against ISIS have been conducted in the last three weeks. During the same period, the number of ISIS families in camps such as Al-Hol and Roj has been reduced to 25,000. Officials believe that the camp issue could be completely resolved within a few months. Thus, the most important bargaining chip in the hands of the YPG/SDF will also be eliminated.

"FORGET ABOUT KANTON, FEDERALISM, AND AUTONOMOUS KURDISTAN"

Abdulaziz Temo, President of the Syrian Kurdish Association, stated that Washington no longer recognizes YPG/SDF leaders Ilham Ahmed, Eldar Khalil, and Mazlum Abdi as interlocutors. According to Temo, the U.S. administration rejected their requests to go to the U.S. and clearly conveyed the message: "Forget about the agenda of canton, federalism, and autonomous Kurdistan."

The feeling of exclusion is also behind Mazlum Abdi's interview with the Israeli press. Temo noted that the organization threatened to release 5,000 ISIS members from the camps they control to exert pressure on Damascus and that they are trying to print new identities and passports while acting like a state in Qamishli. According to Temo, Israel is encouraging the organization for new maneuvers by sending the message "don't give up."

"TIES WITH THE U.S. HAVE COMPLETELY BROKEN"

Dr. Mehdi Davut, a Kurdish opinion leader from Qamishli, stated that the ties between the PKK's Syrian structure and the U.S. have completely broken. Davut conveyed that the U.S. has informed that no budget will be allocated to TEVDEM, PYD, YPG, SDF, and all other military-civil structures, and that the organization was told to "establish contact through Damascus and come to America with a Damascus passport." He noted that this situation has increased the feeling of "we were used" within the organization and added that the organization has developed a new plan to camouflage approximately 15,000 militants who are citizens of Turkey, Iraq, and Iran. Accordingly, it has been requested that the YPG/SDF continue as a "regional force" consisting of three divisions and two battalions under the name of "border protection, public order, and counter-terrorism unit" along the Qamishli–Hasakah–Ayn al-Arab–Yarubiyah line. It has been claimed that the same proposal was also conveyed to Turkey.

Davut also mentioned that the organization is making efforts for Öcalan to play a role in this process, stating that the reason for this is to ensure that militants with Turkish, Iraqi, and Iranian passports can continue to stay in Syria. It was expressed that this structure would also include YPJ elements, as well as the International Battalion formed by European militants and Armenian groups.
