MAYOR ALSO ALLEGEDLY INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT
According to allegations, Yazıhüyük Mayor Birol Demirdelen and his companions were also involved in the argument that broke out after the football match. These claims were met with great backlash in Kiledere. As the situation escalated, a crowd forming a vehicle convoy from Kiledere attempted to enter Yazıhüyük. However, gendarmerie teams did not allow the convoy to enter the town to prevent the tension from escalating.
ENTRIES AND EXITS CLOSED
The security level in Yazıhüyük has been raised to the highest level. A large number of gendarmerie and riot police were dispatched to the town, and the entry and exit roads were closed under control. Gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures on the main roads of the town, around the square, in front of the municipality building, and in the area where Mayor Birol Demirdelen's house is located.

It has been learned that officials kept watch throughout the night in the towns to prevent the situation from escalating further, and that the investigation is being conducted in a comprehensive manner.
