Continuing to add new restrictions to the policies being implemented, EU countries are preparing to take new restrictive measures regarding applications made by Turkish citizens through Bulgaria. STARTING ON JANUARY 1, 2025Despite being EU members, visa controls have been applied to Bulgaria and Romania until now, but with the new year, citizens of the two countries will be granted the right to free movement. ADDITIONAL MEASURES TO PROTECT THE TURKISH BORDERIn the map determined during the last meeting of the EU Commission held last Wednesday, travel borders were drawn with clear lines, while Ankara was pushed outside these borders.
