Ako Xarib, the Director of the Sulaymaniyah National Security Museum, stated that a decision was made to take the burned weapons to the Emne Sureke National Museum for exhibition and preservation, but with a change in this decision, it was said that the burned weapons would be kept in the Casene Cave. Xarib mentioned that a procedure would be established to determine a special place for the protection of the burned weapons and that studies on how to protect them were ongoing.
