It has been revealed that during the fundraising for the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş and Hatay, a large amount of dollars transferred from abroad to Oğuzhan Uğur's bank account was detected during a MASAK investigation. Following Haluk Levent's arrest and imprisonment on corruption charges, Oğuzhan Uğur's detention has caused widespread public reaction. Oğuzhan Uğur's post about a "dam burst" during the Hatay earthquake had hindered rescue efforts for hours.

Colonel Hasan Atilla Uğur, who played an active role in counter-terrorism efforts particularly in the 1990s, was among the soldiers who took custody of PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan, who was captured by the CIA in 1999 and handed over to Turkey in Kenya. Hasan Atilla Uğur, who was part of the team that traveled on a private plane owned by businessman Cavit Çağlar to take custody of Abdullah Öcalan from Turkish officials in Kenya, also participated in Öcalan's interrogation.
Oğuzhan Uğur, who made broadcasts belittling the state during the Kahramanmaraş and Hatay earthquakes and directed the public to donate to the Ahbap association, had his father Hasan Attila Uğur stated in a program that if he saw his son in the wrong, he would personally break his legs.
HIS NAME ENTERED THE FETÖ FILE
The Ergenekon case process began with hand grenades seized in Ümraniye in 2007. A year later, in 2008, Hasan Atilla Uğur's name came up in the Ergenekon investigation. Uğur was detained, referred to court by prosecutor Zekeriya Öz, and arrested and sent to prison.
On August 5, 2013, the court decision was announced. He was sentenced to 20 years for 'attempting to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey or partially or completely prevent it from performing its duties by using force and violence', 7 years for 'obtaining personal data', and 2 years and 3 months for 'violating the Firearms Law', totaling 29 years and 3 months in prison.
Uğur, who was held in prison for 5 years, 8 months, and 10 days, was released in 2014.
STRIKING FETÖ STATEMENTS FROM UĞUR
