According to a report citing German officials, Germany is considering options for direct involvement in a war with Iran or providing military support to its allies.
While the war between the US-Israel and Iran continues, a striking claim has emerged from Europe. According to a report by GLZRadio, which is based on German officials, Germany is considering the option of entering into war with Iran.
2 DIFFERENT SCENARIOS ON THE TABLE
The report states that Berlin is keeping two different scenarios on the table. Accordingly, Germany may either directly participate in the military conflict or provide military support to its allies.
Among the possible support options, it is stated that there are headings such as logistical assistance, provision of military equipment, intelligence sharing, and support for regional operations.
WAR IS ESCALATING TO A DANGEROUS LEVEL
This development has led to assessments that the war may not be limited to the Middle East but could also directly affect Europe.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed.
