A birthday surprise that he will never forget was organized for Ilhami Özer, who serves as the chief driver at the Bolu Municipality Fire Department. With an announcement from the fire department's announcement system regarding a house fire caused by an electrical short circuit, Özer's home address in the Tepecik neighborhood was given. As Özer ran to the fire truck, he realized that the announced address was his own home just as he was getting into the vehicle. Özer, filled with concern and panic, said "Oh my, oh my, my home" as he boarded the fire truck.
EVERYTHING WAS FOR THE BIRTHDAY SURPRISE
Upon getting into the vehicle, Özer was greeted by a birthday cake prepared by his colleagues on the passenger seat. As Özer blew out the candles on the cake that read "The man who goes to the fire not with a bellows but with a gear," the brief moment of fear and joy reflected on his face. Özer's colleagues captured those moments with a cellphone camera.
