A decision has been made regarding the famous manager Ayşe Barım, who was tried on the grounds of allegedly directing artists in the Gezi Park case. While the indictment requested a prison sentence of 22 to 30 years, the prosecutor changed the nature of the crime and demanded an aggravated life sentence. Barım was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison for "aiding an attempt to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey."
