The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Mediterranean at 16:53.

The depth of the tremor was measured at 5.75 kilometers. It was reported that the earthquake was felt in many districts. The Kandilli Observatory announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 4.7.
