The first program that MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli will attend, after taking a break from his activities for over 40 days following his surgery, has been announced. The 21st term of the MHP's "School of Politics and Leadership," which will begin with Bahçeli's participation, is set to start in April.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TRAINING
For participation in the program, applicants who applied between February 12 and March 16 must be university graduates and aged between 23-40, preferably with knowledge of a foreign language. After the application process, the interview committee formed within the MHP will determine 40 students from different provinces and professions in Turkey to participate in the Politics and Leadership School. The school, which will start with the participation of Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, will have training lasting 11 weeks. Classes will be held on weekends at the MHP Headquarters in classrooms named after Prof. Dr. Erol Güngör and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Eröz.
APPLICATION
The application form for the program can be filled out by visiting the Politics and Leadership School page on the website "www.mhp.org.tr". The required documents, in addition to the application form, must be delivered by hand by March 16 or sent by cargo to the MHP Headquarters, Politics and Leadership School Coordination, Ceyhun Atuf Kansu Street, No:128, Balgat Ankara.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Most recently, on January 28, 2025, MHP Chairman Bahçeli appeared before the cameras and spoke at his party's group meeting. Subsequently, the MHP canceled its regular group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Tuesday, February 4. The public learned about Bahçeli's illness through a statement made by MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın on the evening of February 5.
In a statement made by the party on February 6, it was stated, "As a result of the examinations and medical evaluations conducted, the existing valve was surgically replaced on February 6 due to signs of degeneration in the heart valve that was changed 10 years ago, and the procedure was completed very successfully without complications." It was emphasized that Bahçeli's health condition is extremely good and stable, and it was stated, "Mr. Bahçeli is resting in his room. He will return to his daily life shortly after the hospital process is completed."
