Kayserispor's experienced right-back Gökhan Sazdağı spoke for the first time about his name being linked with Galatasaray. Expressing his strong desire to transfer to Galatasaray, Gökhan stated, "If the clubs agree, why not Galatasaray? I can leave in line with the interests of my club."
The rumors about Kayserispor's 40-year-old right-back Gökhan Sazdağı transferring to Galatasaray are increasing. The experienced footballer spoke for the first time about these claims and clearly expressed his desire to transfer to the yellow-reds.

Speaking to Ajansspor and initially referring to the Fenerbahçe match, Gökhan said, "I made 3 assists in the Fenerbahçe match and experienced something new in my career. I was also in good form and took advantage of the spaces well. There is a championship race between two important clubs in the Super League. Fenerbahçe lost 2 points in our match and suffered a setback in the race," he stated.

Emphasizing that he has expectations for the A National Team, Gökhan Sazdağı said, "My personal performance is on the rise. I have expectations for the A National Team. Hopefully, this will come true," he said.

I still have a contract with Kayserispor. My transfer will depend on the agreement between the clubs. If the clubs agree, why not Galatasaray," he said.

The 30-year-old right-back said, "I would really like to transfer to Galatasaray. Right now, Galatasaray is being discussed, and I can leave in line with my club's interests. We made a promise to our city. Our only goal as Kayserispor is to stay in the league and bring the ship to the harbor. I have also played matches where I took on the role of a winger. I feel good both as a right-back and on the right wing. I am working to be on the field with 100% effort, no matter which position I am given," he concluded.
