In the FETÖ operation conducted in Istanbul, it was determined that the arrested lawyer Seyfullah Tosun is the son of the fugitive Naci Tosun. Tosun, who was caught red-handed through an application on his phone, was found to have worked at a university that was closed by a decree and to have established contact with individuals in the organization's upper ranks.
The teams of the Istanbul Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch conducted work to identify the activities of the organization within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The teams determined that lawyer Seyfullah Tosun, who had 5 confessions stating that he was a so-called "house elder" and "high school student responsible" in houses affiliated with the organization and used the code names "Salih and Hakan," had phone contact with individuals in the so-called top management of the organization through applications used by FETÖ.
WORKED AT A UNIVERSITY CLOSED BY KHK
The teams, which determined that the suspect had a record of working at Fatih University, which was closed under KHK due to its affiliation with the organization between 2014-2016, arrested the suspect in an operation they conducted in Kadıköy, finding that he was actively practicing law.
SON OF A FETÖ FUGITIVE
After his procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the judge. Meanwhile, it was learned that the suspect is the son of Naci Tosun, who was part of the so-called "consultation committee" alongside the deceased organization leader Fetullah Gülen, and against whom there is an arrest warrant, and who was appointed as a trustee of Kaynak Holding.
