In Izmir, the garbage at the Buca Municipality Cleaning Works Directorate site was spread across the road after the effective downpour in the city. The garbage collected at the site on Journalist Writer İsmail Sivri Boulevard in Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood was carried to the boulevard and its surroundings by rainwater.

GARBAGE CAUSED BAD ODOR AND POLLUTION

The garbage caused bad odor and pollution in the area. The municipality teams started working to collect the scattered garbage. The neighborhood head Gökmen Yıldız stated that the accumulated garbage in the area threatens human health and creates an unbearable situation by spreading a bad odor.
