The governors of 16 provinces have been changed with the decree published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdogan. The governors of 12 provinces have been transferred to the position of governor-civil service inspector by being withdrawn to the center.

One name among the governors who were transferred to the center did not go unnoticed. Çorum Governor Zülkif Dağlı, who caused controversy with the images where he could not answer the question about the fate of the foreign nationals who attacked a school principal with a chain in June and repeated the words of the Provincial Police Chief Arif Pehlivan, was transferred to the center with the title of Governor-Civil Service Inspector.

The other names transferred to the center with the decision published in the Official Gazette are Kırşehir Governor Hüdayar Mete Buhara, Bolu Governor Erkan Kılıç, Amasya Governor Yılmaz Doruk, Bitlis Governor Erol Karaömeroğlu, Burdur Governor Türker Öksüz, Karaman Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim, Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz, Gümüşhane Governor Alper Tanrısever, Artvin Governor Cengiz Ünsal, Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü, and Şırnak Governor Cevdet Atay.
