The TFF 3rd League team Altay will face a penalty of a total of 18 points deduction and relegation if they do not reach an agreement with their four former foreign players by January 8th.
Altay, one of the teams in TFF 3rd League Group 4, is experiencing one of the most challenging periods in its history. The İzmir team may face serious sanctions due to its debts.
4 FOREIGN PLAYERS HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS
Former players Leandro Kappel, Serge Aka, Adam Stachowiak, and William De Amorim had previously filed a complaint with FIFA regarding their unpaid dues from the club. Due to these four players whose payments have not been made, FIFA intervened in the process and set a deadline of January 8, 2026.
FACING A 18-POINT DEDUCTION AND RELEGATION PENALTY
If Altay cannot reach an agreement with Kappel and Serge Aka by January 1, a total of 12 points will be deducted, with 6 points for each player. The black-and-whites will lose another 6 points if they cannot reach a settlement with Adam Stachowiak by January 8. If an agreement cannot be reached with William De Amorim, the club will face a relegation penalty.

The amounts owed to these players are as follows: Kappel 238 thousand Euros, Aka 920 thousand Euros, Stachowiak 496 thousand Euros, and Amorim 466 thousand Euros. Furthermore, it has been stated that interest debts will also be added to these amounts.
