In Ardahan, the storks, known as the 'harbingers of spring', have arrived early this time. Due to the air temperatures being above seasonal averages, the storks returning to their nests have started to strengthen their nests by perching on electric poles and building rooftops.

The storks, which have settled in their nests built on electricity poles in the city center and some villages, are strengthening their nests by carrying dry grass and twigs with their beaks.

Citizen Hacı Osman Yıldız stated that the storks are a harbinger of spring, saying, "Seeing them every year makes us happy. They arrived a bit early this year. So spring is at the door," he said.
