In a tragic accident in Van, the death toll has risen to 8 as a result of a collision between a passenger minibus and a truck. One of the injured, Yıldız Erik, could not be saved despite all medical interventions last night. The treatment of 11 injured individuals, 2 of whom are in serious condition, is ongoing.
Selim and Gülcan Kaya, who lost their lives in the accident. The bodies of Selim and Gülcan Kaya, along with Fadıl Korkmaz, Mehmet Yacan, Dindar Engin, Erkan Koç, Metin Kandemir, and Yıldız Erik, whose autopsy procedures were completed at the Forensic Medicine Institution, were received by their families. The bodies were sent to Hakkari to be buried using funeral vehicles belonging to Hakkari Municipality and Van Metropolitan Municipality.
