A helicopter that took off to fly around Aso Volcano in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, has gone missing. Numerous search and rescue teams have been dispatched to the area for the helicopter, which was carrying one pilot and two Taiwanese tourists.

EMERGENCY SIGNAL DURING VOLCANO FLIGHT
Japanese media announced that a tourist helicopter was scheduled to fly for a 10-minute exploration tour around Aso Volcano in Kumamoto Prefecture. It was reported that the helicopter, which had one pilot and two passengers from Taiwan, sent an emergency signal during the flight. Authorities stated that communication with the helicopter was lost at 11:00 local time and that search and rescue operations have begun in the area.
