In the Çakmaközü neighborhood of Karayazı district in Erzurum, a 10-year-old named Sencar, who was attacked by two bears, was rescued by a Kangal dog named Kral. The child, struggling to speak from fear, said, 'If it weren't for Kral, the bears would have eaten me.'

Having previously demonstrated loyalty by staying with a sheep that gave birth in the field and its lamb for two days without leaving their side, Kral once again lived up to his name months later by not abandoning the donkey of the herd that gave birth. This time, a Kangal dog named Kral, belonging to the Kaya family living in the Çakmaközü neighborhood of Karayazı district, saved the family's 10-year-old child, Sencar Kaya, from a bear attack.

KRAL SAVED A LIFE AGAIN

Sencar Kaya and his father Hüsamettin Kaya set out to check on and retrieve their horse that was giving birth near their house outside the village. While little Sencar was trying to get the horse tied to the trees, he suddenly came face to face with two bears. Sencar, chased by the bears, fled in panic and fell to the ground in the commotion. When his father, who was nearby, realized the situation, he immediately called out to the shepherd dogs. Kral, known for his previous heroism and loyalty, stepped in again and rushed forward. He drove back the bears chasing little Sencar. With the arrival of the other dogs, the bears fled in the direction they came from.

SENCAR HAS DIFFICULTY SPEAKING

Father Hüsamettin Kaya immediately brought his son Sencar to Karayazı District Hospital. After necessary checks and tests, it was determined that Sencar had no serious condition, but was experiencing temporary speech difficulty due to the shock. Sencar was kept under observation for a while and later discharged by the doctors. Unable to shake off the shock of the bear attack, Sencar said, despite having difficulty speaking, "If it weren't for Kral, the bears would have eaten me."

DISCHARGED, HE RAN TO KRAL

Uncle Ferit Kaya stated that in the incident, Kral once again acted worthy of his name, and that Sencar's good health made them happy, saying, "Our dog Kral literally acts as a lifesaver. We love him very much. This time too, he gave my nephew a new lease on life."

After being discharged, Sencar Kaya went to his home in Çakmaközü Village, first went to Kral, and thanked him. Sencar hugged the Kangal dog Kral, who saved him from the bear attack, and petted him for minutes. - ERZURUM
