İYİ Party General Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu participated in a broadcast prepared by Fatih Altaylı on his YouTube channel. Responding to Altaylı's questions regarding the agenda, Dervişoğlu evaluated Turkey's current situation. EXPLAINED WHAT THE OPPOSITION NEEDS TO DOSpeaking about the early election statements, Dervişoğlu said: "We need to tell them that as the opposition, we are closed to constitutional amendments, my friend. We are also closed to early elections. But if you have made Turkey ungovernable, then this constitution's articles 101, 106, 104, etc. give Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the opportunity to hold elections again, but then he cannot be a candidate. If he has concerns about Turkey being ungovernable, he should make that decision. And we need to say that he should save Turkey from this dark path with the responsibility of the presidency. But if you say, 'Let's hold the early election on this date,' and if you give the right to determine the election date, it won't work. RESPONSE TO EARLY ELECTION QUESTION FROM DERVİŞOĞLUWhen asked what he would do if there were an early election decision coming out of the Parliament tomorrow, Dervişoğlu replied, "I wouldn't make a decision without thinking about it. Personally, I wouldn't say yes, but we would also ask our authorized boards. They say, 'the opposition cannot escape from the election.' Wherever we need to fight for Turkey's future, we will fight there. Wherever we need to escape, we will escape there."
