Sinan Budak (28), who was working at the construction site in Gaziosmapaşa, tragically lost his life after a bucket weighing approximately 1 ton fell on him.

FELL ON A 1-TON BUCKET

The incident occurred yesterday around 11:00 AM at the construction site located under the Akşemsettin Viaduct. According to the information obtained, Sinan Budak started working at the site under the viaduct in the morning. Suddenly, the bucket operated at the site came loose. A bucket weighing approximately 1 ton fell on Budak. As a result of the incident, Budak collapsed to the ground after being struck on the head.

DIED AT THE SCENE

Upon the notification of his coworkers, health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The police set up a security cordon around the construction site where the accident occurred. In the examination conducted by the health teams who arrived shortly at the scene, it was determined that Budak had lost his life.

HIS FRIENDS WENT INTO A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Sinan Budak's coworkers went into a nervous breakdown after his death. Following the work of the public prosecutor and the crime scene investigation teams, Budak's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue by a funeral vehicle. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
