We later called an ambulance from another hospital. When the medical staff attempted to intervene with the patient, they realized something was missing. The staff here hurriedly took my grandfather and placed him in a room. After 10 minutes, we intervened. MINISTRY OF HEALTH EXPLAINED THE CHRONOLOGY OF THE INCIDENT

Following the sharing of this video on social media with the caption "a deceased citizen was discharged," the Ministry of Health made a statement.

In a post made from the Ministry's "Healthy Solution" social media account, it was stated that there was a need to inform the public regarding the extraordinary inspection process conducted by the Aydın Provincial Health Directorate in response to reports of a deceased citizen being discharged from a private hospital in Aydın.

It was expressed that the patient, who had been receiving treatment in the second-level intensive care unit since January 30, was discharged on February 7 at 10:35 AM, as he no longer required oxygen support, according to the records.

The statement noted the following:

"It has been understood from the camera recordings that the patient waiting at the emergency service entrance in a wheelchair fainted while under the supervision of emergency service personnel and relatives. Subsequently, he was moved to the red zone. Hospital records indicate that the patient was intubated and received intervention for 40-45 minutes, and it was recorded that the patient passed away at 11:40. The investigation being conducted by our provincial health directorate regarding the matter is ongoing, and necessary information will be provided regarding the process."

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat announced that an investigation has been initiated regarding the death of a 94-year-old man at a private hospital in the Kuşadası district.

Canbolat stated that an investigation is being conducted by the Provincial Health Directorate concerning the death of the 94-year-old patient at the time of discharge from a private hospital in the district.

Emphasizing that the matter is being investigated from all aspects, Canbolat said, "A team has been assigned by our Provincial Health Directorate to conduct an examination. Our teams are investigating the matter in all its aspects."
