Truck driver Mehmet Ali, who stated that he came from Georgia, mentioned that he had been waiting on the road since midnight due to the icing and that nearly 20 vehicles were stranded on the road.
In the region where fog was also effective at times, highway teams started salting and cleaning work on the road in the morning hours.
